    COMPLETE PROTECTION FOR ENGINE & TRANS

    The Thunderhawk Performance Mule rear skid plate mounts below the swingarm, protecting the previously exposed engine, CVT transmission, gear case, and rear suspension swingarm. Thunderhawk's exclusive front- facing engine guards/deflectors protect the plastic CVT cover and engine cooling fan cover from sticks, briars and overgrowth when riding off maintained trails or in the woods. This skid plate is designed and manufactured for years of severe service and reinforced to stand up to the harshest conditions.

    IMPROVE OFF-ROAD CAPABILITIES

    Even if you only occasionally ride in overgrown, rugged or rocky terrain, the smooth bottom skid-surface of this skid plate allows you to slide over trail obstacles that would normally have you hung-up and stuck. This skid plate fits with most common rear trailer hitches, features drainage holes to help evacuate mud and water, and does not need to be removed for routine maintenance.
