SPECIAL FITMENT NOTES

Fits with stock, and most aftermarket radius rods -
Thunderhawk Double-Shear Hitches feature direct frame mounting, so fitment of these hitches is affected by the width of the radius rods (where the bolt passes through at the frame end). Polaris has used two different styles of factory-installed radius rods - standard, straight radius rods (1 3/8" width) and High-Clearance radius rods with spacers (1 3/4" total width).

Stock Radius Rods - Thunderhawk Performance makes hitches to fit the factory-installed radius rods.
Aftermarket Radius Rods - There are dozens of aftermarket radius rods which may be 1 3/8" wide, 1 3/4" wide or some other odd-ball dimension. To assure that you receive the correct hitch for any RZR that is equipped with aftermarket radius rods, you MUST verify the measurement of your radius rods before ordering (see photos above).

Polaris Bumpers -
- 2024+ RZR XP 1000 -
  - Fits with Polaris Polaris 2884514-458 High Coverage rear bumper
  - Does NOT fit with Polaris 2884516-458 Low Profile rear bumper
- 2014-2023 RZR XP 1000 & XP Turbo -
  - Does NOT fit with with the Polaris rear bumper -
- 2018-2022 RS-1 -
  - Fits with with the Polaris Extreme rear bumper

Aftermarket Bumpers -
- Frame Mounted Bumpers -
  - Verify that the bumper uses the Polaris frame-mount locations (see photo above).
  - Verify whether any parts of the bumper will interfere with the hitch's receiver tube, such as a low cross-brace or cross-tube (see photo above for example). In general, you will need clearance to about 2" above the upper radius rod bolts.
- Radius Rod Mounted Bumpers -
  - Does NOT fit with aftermarket bumpers using four-bolt radius rod plate for lower mounting (see photo above)
