PROTECT YOUR RZR XP ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
The Thunderhawk Performance Electrical System Guard for RZR XP's mounts to the frame, protecting the previously exposed RZR voltage regulator*, wiring harness and fuse box. Thunderhawk's guard covers these critical components, where they would otherwise be exposed to rocks, sticks, water and mud from the trail or thrown from the rear tire. This Electrical System Guard is a wise investment, even for RZR XP's that have aftermarket UHMW skid plates, as they only cover a small part of the bottom opening, leaving the rear completely exposed to damage.
WHY CHOOSE THUNDERHAWK PERFORMANCE ?
Look under your 2014 - 2018 RZR XP, just below the driver seat, and you’ll see the RZR’s main electrical system. The voltage regulator*, main fuse block & vehicle wiring harness are all hanging down, exposed, under the RZR. This may be convenient on the Polaris assembly line, but it is far from optimum for riding off-road where water, mud, rocks and sticks frequently bounce off the bottom of the RZR and are constantly flying off the rear tire. * In 2017, Polaris moved the RZR XP 1000 voltage regulator to the front of the vehicle, but they still left the fuse block and main wiring harness exposed under the machine.

2016 RZR voltage regulator guard
I had to alter the fit of guard, my wire harness wasn’t long enough to reroute. Dealer might have changed at recall. Nice product Thank you
