PREVENT FRAME BREAKAGE
Stock RZR rear sway bar mounts are known to crack & separate from the frame, and the vertical frame tubes themselves are prone to cracking just below the sway bar mounts. Thunderhawk Performance designed this kit to address both of these problem areas, strengthening both the frame and the sway bar mounts.
The RZR rear sway bar mounts are welded to the frame on one side, and are left unsupported on the other. To reinforce these sway bar mounts, Thunderhawk triangulates the unsupported ends of the factory sway bar mounts directly to the lower frame tubes to eliminate the flex that causes the cracking & tearing of the factory sway bar mounts.
This Thunderhawk kit also functions as a strong gusset plate to stiffen the frame below the sway bar mounts, where the vertical frame tube is susceptible to flex & cracking. Tied-in strongly at the top, the lower-end of these braces are mounted right next to the frame tube, where the load is transferred directly to the frame without inducing excessive flex into the motor mount pads (like others).
ALSO GREAT FOR REPAIRS
If your RZR is already broken, it is essential to install this kit after repairs are completed. This will strengthen this area and assure that you do not experience future breakage.

Absolutely perfect fit drilling the holes is a little tedious, but it does come out. Follow the instructions to the letter.

Excellent Instructions -- Easy Installation
These braces are really well made and designed to fit right in. The quality is excellent, the cutouts and bends are formed for a perfect fit at the mating interfaces. The instructions are very well written with pictures to help visualize each step - it's only four bolts per side..... no real challenges. One comment - drilling out the hole is simple; I found that lifting the car and allowing the suspension to extend gave direct/easy access for my drill..... All done! I have not run the RZX on any hard rides (yet) but those braces are well-built and will be great.
