Since their introduction, the original Thunderhawk Performance CV-Max CV boot guards for the Kawasaki Mule 610 and Mule 610 XC have offered the best protection available anywhere. With extra-large, reinforced deflectors on both the front and rear sides of the front A-arm, Thunderhawk's original CV-Max CV guards offer the ultimate protection. There have been CV guards released by other companies since Thunderhawk first developed the original CV-Max CV guards for the Mule, but none offer anywhere near the protection provided by Thunderhawk Performance.
Thunderhawk Performance now offers two levels of CV boot protection for the Kawasaki Mule 610, 610 XC and all new Mule SX 4x4 models. The original Thunderhawk CV-Max CV guards are still available, and now Thunderhawk offers these Standard CV guards for customers on a budget. Thunderhawk Standard CV guards are identical to the original Thunderhawk CV-Max CV guards with one exception; the rear deflector had been eliminated. Thunderhawk Standard CV guards have retained all the other features of the original CV-Max CV guards, making these Standard CV guards superior to all other CV guards except for Thunderhawk's own CV-Max CV guards. Thunderhawk's extra-large front deflectors provide superior CV boot protection, and the exclusive reinforced deflector design strengthens the CV guard, allowing it to stand up to the harshest terrain you may head into.
For anyone who rides an extremely rough terrain, or if you are blazing your own trails, we still recommend the Thunderhawk CV-Max CV guards, which feature deflectors on the rear side of the front A-arm for CV boot protection on those occasions when you may have to reverse out of a sticky situation. For anyone else who feels that their style of riding does not require the CV-Max CV guards, Thunderhawk Standard CV guards offer superior protection over all other brands of CV guards on the market.
All Thunderhawk Performance CV guards featured drainage slots to help evacuate water & mud, and are precision CNC manufactured in the USA from high strength aircraft aluminum. This is a complete, bolt-on CV Guard kit including two CV guards, all necessary hardware and illustrated instructions. Installs easily, with the typical installation taking about 30 minutes using common hand tools.
