Check around and you'll find a surprising number of people who have had a stick break right through the plastic floor of their Ranger or RZR. When riding trails, the front tire is constantly throwing everything against the plastic floor and inner fenders. Usually, this trail debris just bouces off. But occasionally, a stick will get wedged up in between the tire (or the ground) and the plastic and something has to give. The stick breaks through the plastic and comes flying up right under your feet and legs, which is sure to grab your attention and can even cause injury. Then, when you get home and take a closer look at the damage, you'll see that it's a major job to replace the broken plastic floor panel & inner fender panel (and expensive too).

Thunderhawk Performance designed these inner fender guards to protect the floor and inner fenders from this damage, by stopping a stick before it breaks the plastic. These are not just flimsy plastic or thin-gauge aluminum mud guards. We selected 1/8” aircraft-grade aluminum (skid plate material) for these inner fender guards for maximum strength and light weight. These guards are designed and formed to fit tightly with the stock inner fenders to maintain maximum tire clearance. This is important for anyone running larger tires, as any guard that simply bolts to the front face of the square outer rocker panel frame tube will reduce tire clearance. The outer edge of the Thunderhawk inner fender guards have been designed to meet this outer frame tube and cover the vertical gap that Polaris left open behind the front tire, which keeps the mud out for easier clean-up.

Thunderhawk inner fender guards are precision CNC manufactured in the USA and are designed to fit with the stock Polaris skid plate as well as most aftermarket skid plates. This kit includes two inner fender guards and all necessary installation hardware & illustrated instructions, and is available in bare aluminum or with optional black powdercoat finish (adds $20.00).
