STRENGTHEN & REINFORCE THIS WEAK AREA

Check around, and you'll find that it's common to have the factory whip / flag mounting points at the rear of the RS-1 bend. Even small, light-weight flags can do this. Larger flags and lighted whips (with or without a flag) will almost certainly bend these factory mounting tabs.

Thunderhawk Performance has designed this whip & flag mounting tab reinforcement bracket kit to eliminate this bending. It's best to install this kit before the tabs are bent (at the same time you install the flag or whip). However, if you have already bent the factory tabs and they can be bent back to their stock location, this kit will reinforce these damaged tabs and allow you to keep the flag or whip instead of having to remove it. These reinforcement brackets are bolt-on parts that mount to the frame to triangulate and gusset the factory sheet metal flag-mount tabs to resist bending. Any brand of flag or whip that fits the stock flag-mount hole on the frame can be used.

You will have 7-10 days to pay for the part prior to production. Then, we'll run the parts and ship ASAP.

We have no idea how long it might take to get the necessary Group Buy pre-orders for these parts. This will be the biggest factor that will determine when these parts will actually be built. If you are active on any forums, Facebook Groups or other social media, please let these people know about this Group Buy and post a link to this page so that others can come here to pre-order and speed things up for you. If you change your mind about buying due to the wait, or for any reason really, please let us know so that we can remove you from the pre-order list. This will avoid any additional delays for the people who are actually ordering which would be caused if many people back out at the end, after we contact everyone to finalize orders and begin production.
